This was an inspiring stay. Wonderful house and artwork and the host is such a talented artist himself. Also a wonderful person and host. Breakfast was immaculate and delicious. So mush thought went into it. I felt like I made an instant friend in him. I’m looking forward to staying there again very soon.

Wartling Place is in a lovely rural location but still very easy to get to by car and not too far away from local towns and attractions. The grounds and gardens are beautiful, the house is attractively presented with comfortabe furniture and Rowena was a great host who made sure I was happy and served up tasty breakfasts!

Beautiful house and garden, very nice room and bathroom, excellent breakfast, very nice, welcoming and extremely helpful hostess beyond our expectation. Very quiet and dark nights that helped us sleep very well. A variety of bottles of wine and beer were for sale, and a fridge as well as fresh milk for teas and coffees in our room were available.
