I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Stansted Lodge Elsenham. From the very start, the communication with the owner was swift, professional, and incredibly helpful. I arrived quite late at night, and due to a road closure, I had difficulty finding my way. The owner went above and beyond by promptly sending me detailed directions, making what could have been a stressful situation much smoother.
The room was spotless, warm, and incredibly quiet, exactly what I needed after a long day of travel. Free parking was also provided in a spacious, well-lit area secured by CCTV, which gave me added peace of mind. The next morning, I required assistance with transport, and once again, the owner went the extra mile by offering help that made my journey much easier. His genuine kindness and willingness to assist made all the difference.
The location is also excellent, conveniently close to the airport, yet peaceful and relaxing. It’s rare to find such a welcoming place with this level of care and attention to detail. I will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend Stansted Lodge Elsenham to anyone looking for a stress-free, comfortable stay with outstanding service. Thank you for making my trip so much easier!

Des was an absolutely lovely host and went over and above to make me feel welcome. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Comfortable room, beautiful surroundings and a nice breakfast with decent coffee.
