Everything about our stay was fantastic! Richard the host was super helpful and friendly. The boat is very charming and cosy, in a secluded peaceful spot on the river. Its just a dream. Beautiful walks in nature nearby. Recommend the Poacher & Partridge pub for some great food and hospitality. Highly recommend staying here - you wont be disappointed!!
Great location in the middle of a nice little town. A good sized room 114) with open windows on two sides over the quiet courtyard below. A handsome, historical frontage, with what appeared to be plenty of courtyard parking for those with cars (not me; I came by train to the other end of the High Street). Helpful staff ready with information and an emergency sewing kit when I needed it. Cleaning staff ready to top up tea/coffee supplies daily.
We had a wonderful stay at Egypt Granary. The hosts are really friendly and accommodating and the setting and area is beautiful. The Barn is well equipped, really clean and full of light. We were able to relax and enjoy the countryside, it is such a quiet spot with nice pubs a walking distance away. We will definitely return.
The location is excellent, right on the high street in Tonbridge. The hotel itself is very quaint - the dining room and reception are are charming and have a lovely olde England aesthetic. The room was comfortable and offered plenty of room, along with a nice sized bathroom. The shower was hot and powerful and the in-room refreshments were well provisioned. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and reasonably priced. It was also helpful to have on-site parking included in the price of the room.
