Booked for my boss while he was away on business in the area. He loved the location. and said he would return with his partner. He had to divert on the way there and was scheduled to arrive after the kitchen had closed but he pre-ordered and a meal was arranged for him upon arrival. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Great find and an absolute gem!!!

The Hideaway is idyllic. We wanted to be able to get away from the noise of the city in a peaceful location surrounded by nature. We got exactly that. The room is beautifully furnished and exceptionally comfortable with loving attention to detail. The hosts were really friendly - respectful of our privacy but there if we needed anything. Sitting on the balcony with a drink, watching the sunset in complete tranquillity was the perfect start to our holiday. We will be back.
Fantastic location for a wedding we were attending at Larmer Tree, the hosts are absolutely fantastic and kindly gave us a lift to the venue, couldn’t ask for more, fantastic!
Booked for 2 nights to attend a wedding locally. Great choice for breakfast. Lovely view of countryside from window. Quiet location. Couple of hot days - room was very warm, but staff found us a fan. They also recommended a local taxi company for us.
Lovely location in the middle of Dorset, very quiet. Just a couple of miles from Win Green, from where there are brilliant views of Cranborne Chase. The inn is lovely, the room was really nice (maybe a little small). Parking on-site. The Butcombe beer was excellent and the wine was reasonable (nice, tall glasses). Best was the evening meal, absolutely superb food. Friendly staff too. Would go again.
