The property was in a great location, parking available onsite and great views of the water. It was very calming to hear the waves in the room. We stayed in the Great Cumbrae room. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The walk in shower had great pressure and temperature was able to get nice and hot. The hosts Kenny and Lesley were wonderful and very nice. The breakfast was delicious. The property had direct access to the boardwalk and water. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We agreed that it's basic, cold and over priced. The tv works. The bed is hard, if you like that... I didn't.

The Kames hotel is a gem of a place. Set in one of the most peaceful, pretty locations in Scotland, it provides an exceptional experience. The hotel is ruch in character, spotless, peaceful, and so quiet. The rooms were beautiful and had a glorious sleep when I managed to tear myself away from the view from the window, which was stunning. I had dinner and breakfast and both were absolutely delicious and fresh. The host was so lovely too and really took care of you. Will definitely return.
Great meals. We had breakfast and dinner. We were visitng Isle of Bute and decided to stay here. The view is magnificnet. The village is very peaceful. Owners are great hosts.
