We enjoyed our overnight stay at Bogenraith House staying here as we had a wedding in Banchory. We were in the Flora McDonald room, it was a cosy room and quirky too. There were lots of extras such as a coffee maker, fruit, chocolates, prosecco, fluffy robes and slippers, which was much appreciated. Marilyn was an excellent host really friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the cooked breakfast, I had the pancakes, cream and peaches and my husband had the very large breakfast both were really tasty. We would be happy to return there for a longer stay next time.
Firhurst is located in Aboyne, just 22 miles from Balmoral Castle and 29 miles from Hilton Community Centre. Featuring a garden, the property is located within 30 miles of Beach Ballroom.

Lovely little studio, very cosy. Kitchen was well equipped for size, including washing machine. Nice personal touches like a home-baked cake, fresh milk, tea & coffee etc. Plenty of street parking.

The accommodations were in excellent order, decor was lovely and tasteful and rooms were welcoming. The breakfast was delish!!

The location was perfect for us as we were attending a local event. The proximity to the road from Dundee and the main Deeside roads was excellent. The hotel was comfortable and the host very friendly and interesting. The breakfasts were very good.
We had a view of the hills and river, it was within 10 minutes drive of Banchory but in the heart of the countryside,so quiet. The room was exceptionally clean and a wonderful breakfast served up by Lynda who was so friendly and helpful. I will be using this guest house next time I am in the area.

The breakfast was the best of our trip.
The room was absolutely great, clean and confortable! Very cosy place. Quiet aera nearby the river and not too far from Stachan (for the dinner) and Fettercairn (for the distillery).
Probably one of the nicest night and stay of our 2 weeks trip in Scotland .
Quiet location, host very good, looking forward to it being returned to its previously very successful state. A work in progress but I'm sure Rob will get there with a bit of TLC
Fabulous location overlooking the river and 10 minutes from the famous waterfall. It was soooo quiet and has its own little private garden you can sit in next to the river. Very friendly and helpful host, Rob who seems to know everything there is to know about the entire locality. Great breakfast. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in and lovely little touches in the rooms.
