Property was interesting in layout. Rooms were good, quite large and well equipped. Bathrooms were en-suita and a good size although the showers were rather small. Also water pressure was rather weak. Breakfast was excellent. Location was good, not in main square of Stow ( that could have been noisy ) but only a short walk away. Helen was welcoming and very helpful. Garden was pretty - pity that we could not enjoy it as it rained almost all the time. Loved the story about John the pidgeon.

It was wonderful to have a kitchen in the middle of our trip. Amanda was very helpful with local knowledge and advice. She even let us wash a load of laundry.

Fabulous little bolt hole in Carteton. Upstairs part of a family house. 15 minutes walk from town centre. Milk tea and water provided. Nice and warm for a November stay. WiFi and car parking. Hostess was lovely. Not disturbed by family life.... and the dog was cute. A microwave and some utensils were provided for snack meals. Would stay there again when we go back to visit our friends.

Woodlands guesthouse was in a prime, yet quiet, location for exploring Stow, local villages in the Cotswolds and walks; unfortunately due to the storm we arrived in walking was not high on our list.
The rooms were well furnished and cosey, with a great selection for breakfast. We found Amanda to be a lovely host that provides you with the information you need before leaving guests to it, yet has many stories of her own travels to share.
