The room was clean and easy to get into. It felt personal, with tea and coffee provided in the well- equipped kitchen. The TV in the room was huge and both bathrooms had lovely facilities. The host was responsive and helpful, even though we didn't meet in person

I've stayed before and found this to be a comfortable and well-equipped place, located a stone's throw from the cathedral. All of the above still stands, but there were a couple of problems this time round (see below)
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Comfortable enough although very small. Washing machine was useful, self catering although no cooking tools just frypan and saucepan. Host very responsive and helpful and was a nice safe neighbourhood.
Such a beautiful home, well presented with easy access & quality furnishings! Lovely quiet location, ideal for me working in the city!
