Very convenient to town centre. Across from lovely fields with a view of the castle. Right off the causeway and adjacent to train station. Plentiful, free parking. Nice staff. Comfortable room and bed. Nothing fancy but tidy and pleasantly furnished. Breakfast was lovely in the conservatory, cooked hot to order and also a selection of self service continental offerings. I would return for sure!

Great location - parking is difficult in brighton so good to be round the corner from North Lane car park.
Nice room, had everything we'd need and was very clean.

We stayed in Combe Cottage which is in a very private, quiet location (we didn't hear a sound all week). Absolutely loved it! It's a great size and has great facilities: the kitchen had everything we needed and much more besides. The bed was huge and extremely comfy.
We also really liked Steyning. A lovely town with great local shops and plenty to see.
Would definitely return if we're in the area again.
Peaceful location and great facilities for a small place. Very comfortable and clean. Fluffy towels and luxury bedding. There was enough storage under the bed. Nice style of decoration. Responsive hosts who really made the effort.
The breakfast was buffet style and the choice of full English and continental was very good indeed. Bacon a little dry ! Location in charming village was quiet and charming.
The Castle Inn is a charming hotel, great location in the South Downs and such a cute village. The owners and bar staff are very friendly especially the breakfast crew. And the Breakfast is really good. We had one of the garden rooms which was very comfortable.
