I like that it was close from the Wavertree train station and. We don’t need to travel to Lime street station at night. Don’t need to wait for bus . Saved our time. We get off two train station earlier and walk straight away to property. It was easy to find it. All the street was well marked and I learned from this property that any property further from airport will be very easy for connection to the airport early morning ( next day).

I cannot believe that our room was once where the cows lived in winter. Pam and Richard have done an amazing transformation of the building and should be so proud of their achievements. It's a lovely peaceful area and we enjoyed a much needed weekend. Thank you to our hosts.

The Gateway Lodge is a little gem. Our room was a good size, clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. Jimmy our host was lovely and helped us out by storing some of our belongings while we were in Ireland. It's in a fantastic location, close to the airport and walking distance to a couple of bus routes to get into central Liverpool so we didn't have to drive. I would definitely stay again.

Booked a room as we were flying out from Liverpool airport early the next morning. The airport is literally around the corner and we were easily able to catch a bus into the city centre for the afternoon/evening. Host was very friendly and helpful and explained we could have left our car in their carpark (which is locked overnight) for the duration of our holiday at a much cheaper rate than we paid for airport parking. Room was pleasant, clean and well stocked. Will stay again. Highly recommend.
