Absolutely lovely guest house, with very friendly staff, lovely food and the bonus of a day time cafe in the building when we needed a bit of lunch after a wet and windy walk. The B&B was in a great location for us to have a couple of days hiking in the hills around town.

The staff were friendly and very helpful on checking in/out, directing us to the car park and helping to load/unload bags.
The room was very comfortable with teas, coffee and a treat from the bakery downstairs. We also had a great view of the bridge.
Highly recommend D'arcy's at The Station for dinner, it was excellent.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Beautifully presented. Great location. Very comfortable. Louise is a lovely host. Breakfast was really nice. Would recommend Anton Guest House to anyone.
Breakfast was absolutely fabulous. The very best we had on our trip. We also received a warm welcome on arrival, with a cup of tea and cake in the delightful garden. Our hosts were charming and thoughtful.
We had a nice quiet room with a private bathroom.
Met the hosts in passing, who were friendly and helpful. Close to main house and above 2nd suite ( but stay was very quiet) and our suite felt private and intimate. It was comfy and cosy (weather was sub-zero): able to alter temperature and extra blankets were available. Some crockery, glasses and cutlery were supplied and an info pack was appreciated. Nice to have free tea and coffee.
Great location. Within walking distance of different parts of the town.
Great location in a quiet neighbourhood. Private, off-road parking. Only a short walk from the town centre. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming hostess.
The location is not only quiet , it is perfectly placed. Within a 7 minutes walk from the town centre and right around the corner from the park and the beautiful Quarry walk.
The apartment was spotless and the little welcome touches just perfect 🥰
The host was so accommodating when we wanted to extend for an additional 2 days .
We loved this place and would definitely book again.
Great gem ! Book it you won't be disappointed
Parking just down the hill, about 100 paces was £20 a day . But maybe we there are cheaper options around.
