The room was a good size and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The breakfast was good and an alternative fried egg was offered instead of the scrambled eggs. Very friendly and welcoming host. Beautiful garden and just a 5 minute walk to the centre of Stow on the Wold.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor, but away from the road, so very quiet. The bed was comfortable. Newton House is about a 15min walk from the city centre.

Location was amazing! The renovation was charming. Instructions to access the unit were clear.

They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Lovely apartment, well decorated, furnished and fitted with really comfy beds and everything you might need. Great communication with owners, easy parking and access and close to a variety of shops. The apartment and building was really quiet and peaceful.
Good instructions for arrival, beautiful decor and the house looks even better in person. Christmas tree added to our family festive fun. House was clean and very organized. We had a comfortable stay, quiet area.

Beautifully clean and smelled like fresh laundry. Karan put fresh milk in the fridge for the tea and coffee. This was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Comfy bed- I could live there! The separate living room was a bonus. Tastefully decorated. Quiet surroundings. Wonderful host. Thank you.
