Clean, comfy, quiet room. Helpful hosts and the breakfast was excellent. Easy walking distance to Rothsay center and all it's amenities. Great island for walking and cycling. Mount Stuart house and gardens a must visit, it was beyond our expectations.

The location was great, nice and close to the town, easy walk to the Co-op and other shops, but also on a nice quiet street. The views from the sitting room were superb, we enjoyed looking out over the bay and watching the ferries come and go. Our host was responsive and friendly, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed with lots of room. A really enjoyable stay.

We have stayed here before and returned due to liking it so much. An extremely comfortable guesthouse with a lovely owner and staff. They are super friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfasts and the views from the house and garden are stunning. Just the place if you want a relaxing break. A short, scenic walk into town and lovely and quiet at night.

Lovely little flat, immaculately clean and looks freshly decorated. All the instructions and information you could need, including books, maps, details of local walks etc, even DVDs with historical footage. Clearly an experienced host. Flat was quiet at night, lovely garden out the back with washing lines, handy if you're staying longer. Kitchen and bathroom all up to date and working well. TV with Freesat, Netflix capability etc. Great location. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great location, quiet and relaxing break, wonderful views. Spacious ground floor self catering apartment on front with a private seating area. everywhere was very well maintained and spotless clean. Ferry, shops and eating places cafes within walking distances. Host Sara lives in next door house, she is helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Breakfast supplies in flat on our arrival. Managed fine without cooker, microwave and toaster etc met our needs.

Keir & Fiona were great hosts very welcoming and friendly. The room was good and the beds comfortable. First class breakfasts and a great choice, nicely cooked and presented. Good banter with Keir and the other guests. Spectacular view from the guest house window and just a short scenic walk into town. Highly recommend it.

I cannot speak too highly of the Glendale in general. More than great host, gothic exterior, great location, great breakfast. Our only negative was we couldn't book the room we wanted, as it was quite rightly fully booked. So , we opted for a lovely 4 poster, however was a double, rather than king size bed, so didn't sleep well. Our fault for booking late.
