The property was so beautiful, covered in flowers, gated and in a good location for us because we had a car. Felt safe and very welcoming.
There are two beautiful puppers that are almost as welcoming as our hosts.
Most plush bedding, the shower was amazing and there is a lounge to relax with a tv, to unwind. Hosts were unbelievably kind and so full of knowledge it was tricky to retain all the information.

The property has been beautifully updated, both inside and outside with a lovely view of the mountain. The host and owner, Annie is extremely friendly and welcoming. We had some lovely conversations with her. It’s a perfect place for a weekend getaway or, like us, a stop on our driving tour around Ireland. It is 6 minutes north of town so a car is needed.

We had the large family room with its own entrance on the ground floor - park right outside, very handy. The proximity to Giants Causeway was excellent. Bear in mind, there’s quite a bit of walking once you get to the Causeway! You do not have to pay to do this - there’s no requirement to pay unless you go through the “Experience” building. Good tip from our hosts at Carnside, for less walking park at the Causeway Hotel - £10 cash. Keep the slip. Come back later and eat at the hotel and the £10 gets deducted from your meal bill! They do takeaway too, so if it’s not the right time to eat, get takeaway!
Only a 2-minute walk from Bushmills center, Portcaman House offers free parking and it is conveniently located to reach the spectacular Giant’s Causeway, 4 and half miles away.

Close to town, easy walk. Staff was helpful with recommendations of where to go and a nice tourist map. Breakfast was delicious and hearty. Enjoyed a lovely hot cocoa in the evening. Room was clean and had a towel warmer in the bathroom.

Fantastic house, so spacious clean and bright, main bedroom the size of a hotel suite. En-suite bathrooms fantastic. Living/kitchen area bright with views of the sea, with a small balcony to sit out if you wish. Great location, quiet residential road, and only a 5 min walk to Portstewart promenade, and Amici restaurant. Off street parking for 3/4 cars. Couldn’t really fault a thing. There were 6 of us staying and the house still felt big. Great host too who was super helpful.
This our second stay here. It is a great location with a sea view out of the window. A quiet residential location close to the beach front. Aine is a very attentive host checking if everything was ok. The place is spotless and is kitted out with everything you could need. Beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and a relaxed feel. Has good security with gated entrance.
