The Studio, hotel in Petworth

Boasting garden views, The Studio features accommodation with a terrace and a patio, around 33 km from Goodwood Motor Circuit.

The accommodation was to a high standard, we didn't explore the area as we used the property for a base for a family function so can't comment on this. However the village was very quaint and would like to explore the area some more as not far from family who live near by. The little touches added to the accommodation to make it more personal and the owners being kind, considerate to our needs were amazing.

Arden House, hotel in Petworth

Situated in Arundel and only 15 km from Bognor Regis Train Station, Arden House features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

We were greeted with a warm welcome by Lucie, our hostess, and felt immediately welcomed in this beautiful house. The twin room we had was cosy and the shared bathroom was clean and tidy. Lucie helped us with any questions we had and gave good recommendations about walks around the village and the castle. The breakfast was carefully prepared and presented and there was plenty to choose from. Great place to use as a home base to head out for different adventures in and around Arundel!

The apartment was exactly as described, very comfortable, clean and beautifully renovated to maintain its character. The location of the property was great, it was close to the local shops and cafes but the apartment itself was really quiet. Communication from host was also good (with clear directions and instructions on getting the keys) and it was easy to access the property when we arrived.

Great communication before we stayed, very helpful and friendly welcome. The room was clean, fresh, spacious and comfortable. Cereal, fresh fruit, fresh milk, tea and coffee were all waiting for us in our room, which was a wonderful touch. The cooked breakfast was quality locally sourced produce and tasted delicious. Ample free parking on sight. Lovely quiet location. Excellent value for money. We loved our stay!

We liked that it was proper 'old school' B n B, where you stay in the host family's house, and not an Airbnb or so-called boutique hotel. Liz and Phil were great hosts despite still doing the day job as farmers!
