Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Fabulous hotel set somehow in the incongruous location of Oldbury. Bijou and boutique, the rooms are outstanding and well equipped, big telly and all the usual stuff you’d expect from a premium hotel plus the added convenience of a keyless security system.
We had a lovely time, Maria was an outstanding host, attentive and engaging. She was very helpful with her local knowledge of trains and stuff.
Would definitely come back.
The property was very central to everything we wanted to do and very close to Birmingham. It was quiet, nice and warm, most things there for an excellent stay, any problems and the hosts get back quickly to you
It’s a beautiful boutique hotel in a Georgian building in a quiet area, with parking available. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the staff very friendly and helpful, especially Maria. Comfortable bed, lovely shower, good breakfast choice. You couldn’t fault anything at the hotel except the lack of cooling in this heat currently! I would definitely recommend a stay here!
Great location . Easy access for us to visit our local friends wedding reception. Hotel happy to arrange us a taxi. All most appreciated. Place was quiet despite being adjacent to the M5!
Thank you
Beautiful modern boutique hotel in a good location within the area. James is an amazing friendly host who made us feel welcome from start to finish. We stayed in the Mayfair suite which was spotlessly clean and fully furnished in an eclectic style with great attention to detail. Breakfast was tasty with a great choice to choose from and the chats with James were great.
The host was very personable. Liked what the bathroom/wet room was trying to achieve - rainfall shower. Comfortable bed. Plenty of plug sockets in the room and the light switches were well thought out so that you didn't have to fumble around in the dark to turn a light on when using the bathroom in the night. Quiet area away from the city centre but not too far away. Breakfast offered unusual choices.
