We found this to be a pleasant, quiet location to stay just outside of Inverness, with a view of the firth. The room was small but comfortable. I particularly appreciated that they stocked "real" coffee and a press pot, rather than instant coffee, in the room.

Awesome location. Beautiful property. Well stocked treats, tea, coffee and water. The robes were a nice touch. But the best part was the amazing breakfast, fresh eggs from the onsite chickens. Large portions and all very fresh.

The hotel room was very quaint and cozy with just the right amenities provided. The host was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable and provided use a great intoduction to the town and where to seek out entertainment and food. The info book provided in the room allowed us to plan out our stay in the area and gave us info on good places to find entertainment and soemthing to eat. The sweets by the bedside were a nice touch along with the books and other interesting things relating to the area found in the suites living area. The location was great as it was a short walk to town centre and very easy to get into and out of for the remaining leg of our trip. Parking on site was great. I would recommend the Dionard Guest House to anyone who wants a great place to stay in Inverness. Breakfast was also wonderful.

The host went out of her way to be helpful. I ended up arriving on an earlier train than planned and I was able to check in early. Very kind of her to make accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay at Carisbrooke Guest House. The host, Joy, was kind and welcoming. He provided a wonderful breakfast with plenty of choices each morning. We stayed in a room with an ensuite bath, which was quiet and private. Just a short walk into Inverness city center, this was a perfect location to stay for several days while exploring the area.

Everything is top quality at Bluebell House. We loved our stay. Kenny is the perfect host taking great care and pride in everything he does ....and it shows . Fantastic room and en- suite, spotlessly clean, (Bluebell), bursting with character, a four poster bed, comfy and warm with everything you could possibly need....and more. Quality bed and bedding, great shower, complimentaries, with extras available to add on and to finish off.... a beautifully cooked , plentiful breakfast to see us on our way. On site parking in Inverness centre was an added bonus too. Very highly recommended. You will be daft to miss booking this place and we will be when we next visit Inverness.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Our hosts were very nice, we had a very nice and quiet room with view of the garden. Dinner was available on request and good, breakfast very good! Public transport directly in front.
The room was cute and clean, the view from the window was absolutely lovely - across the water to Inverness. The distance from the town might be a problem without a car, but we enjoyed the quiet. The hosts are absolutely LOVELY and very accommodating. The guest common rooms (lounge room and small conservatory) are very nice too. The breakfast was good, and they even did coeliac-friendly gluten free food for me!
Such a beautiful house in a wonderful location. It was so handy for nipping into Inverness. Beautiful views, a nice park a few minutes walk away and so quiet and peaceful.
I had a few questions and the host got back to me right away, so friendly and welcoming. It was perfect for us and our four kids and we’ll definitely be back!
Spectacular views from the cottage in a really quiet rural area. Modern interior and good use of the space given the cottages age. Everything you could need for a week long stay. Easy enough to find with directions from the host. Host is a great communicator and aims to ensure you have everything you need. ❤️
Very lovely quiet location but close to Inverness.
Spotlessly clean , great host , great breakfasts , very comfortable break out lounge space that we used both nights after dinning out.
Great location for Inverness and surrounding beaches, etc.
Great hosts. Very large garden. Dogs loved it.
