The location was somewhat isolated (which is good) but well signpoted from the A9. We had flown into Edinburgh Airport that morning ("red eye" from the US) and it was a perfect place to recover from jet lag. Big room, with comfortable chairs and a desk. Big, very comfortable bed. Big window with a view over the countryside, not disrupted by the A9. Nice bath, convenient electric outlets. Friendly host, and interesting fellow-guests at breakfaxt. Good breakfast.

Great location, good bathroom, very comfortable and felt like a friend’s home. Shaun is very helpful and friendly. He offered us a lift to Aviemore so we could take the steam train ride to Broomhill.

Ardlogie Guest House felt like home. It is a short walk from the train and bus stops, so easy access to transportation. The room was comfortable and well supplied for ensuring what you needed was at hand. Tastefully decorated in highland tradition. Great conversation with Kristy and Kev. Helpful with questions about getting around, and suggestions for things to do. Breakfast was provided and there were ample choices for hearty to light dishes. Highly recommended.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Great kitchen with plenty of birds and squirrels to watch. Fresh eggs from their chickens can be prepared on the stove. Good selection of cereals.
The hosts were welcoming and nice. We had a quiet private room with a nice view through some trees.
Extra large rooms, quiet, beautifully decorated and fully equiped. Great hospitality, very tasty breakfast including low fat yugort, fresh fruits and special of the day. On premise parking. Lovely garden. The landlord was helpful, polite and explained everything. Walking distance from pubs and restaurants. The whole experience was like being in a lovely painting. Wonderful place!⚘️.
The host put a lot of effort into making our stay very comfortable. We arrived late without warning and they were waiting for us. We got a room on the second floor and they helped us load and unload suitcases. The room and bathroom were quite charming. And the best thing was the breakfast where they had a wide variety instead of just offering the traditional Scotish Breakfast. The presentation of the breakfast is also worth highlighting.
The house is in a quiet spot just off the A9. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and everything we might need. The hosts were friendly and couldn't do enough for us.Breakfast was excellent, and we watched the birds and red squirrels on the feeders.
Fantastic place for a relaxing stop in a beautiful rural location. Annie was a great host and very accommodating for dietary requirements. Wish we could have stayed longer!
