Within walking distance from the train station. Pleasant greeting from the host even after arriving at 10pm. Cosy room and quiet which helped with a good night's sleep. Good, help yourself breakfast. Plenty to choose from. Will stay here again.

As mentioned by previous guests the breakfasts are v good and the idea of an honesty bar is a boon .........Sit by the open fire ( which Chris tops up as the evening goes on) and crash out.
Bed was very comfortable -Slept like a log.
The house was amazing to stay in. The hosts made us feel so welcome and at ease during our stay there. The house was quiet and homely. The family suite we stayed in was very nice with spacious beds equipped with electric blankets. Breakfast was very nice, with a number of options.
Amazing place to stay. Great hosts who catered for our every needs. Excellent breakfast and plentiful supply of fresh fruit, croissants and coffee. We will return another time
the thoughtfulness of the hosts, the spaciousness of the room and bathroom, the interesting decor, our 3 dogs were made very welcome, the fine quality of the amenities, the incredible and delicious vegan and veggie breakfast (the best we’ve ever had), the peace and quiet, the very comfortable 4 poster bed, the history of the house… I could go on!
The breakfast was fantastic . Lovely fresh fruit as well as a good cooked breakfast . it was exceptional !
