Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, lovely countryside location despite being less than a mile from Bournemouth airport. The dining room is made available for enjoying an evening takeaway, fires will be made up and lit upon request, nothing appeared too much trouble for Mike, owner and host, a lovely, genuine and helpful guy. The full English breakfast was excellent and you could also help yourself from the cereals and fruits for no extra. It was nice not having a TV in the bedroom, there was one in the lounge if you felt the need, along with some games. Although I only stayed a night, waiting to pick my girlfriend up at 01.00 am, it was a great experience. My girlfriend loved it after her flight and really enjoyed the breakfast after 7 days away from Ol' Blighty! We will be staying here again when visiting Bournemouth, way more personal and comfy than a cheap 'chain' hotel. Thank you again Mike for your hospitality, a lot of hotels could learn a lot from you about customer satisfaction.

Inga and Martin are excellent hosts. Everything has been considered and the facilities are high quality. The property with its room arrangements is unique and imaginative, it’s like a boutique hotel. Will stay again when fine this way.

We attended an evening event on the pier and the hotel was perfect walking distance away so we didn't have to drive down (around a 10minute walk). The 2 female staff we encountered were both inviting and friendly, the hotel was great and we had zero complaints at all about it. Would stay in the hotel again if in the area
