In my 10 years of travelling the world, I have never felt so at home and so welcome. Jonathan and Simona (along with Ema, the Lab and Molly the Cat) made our journey through the Scottish Highlands an experience to remember and definitely left us with the feeling that we would want to come back again. The house is extremely cozy and in the evening, the fireplace creates an pleasant atmosphere reminding me of my childhood days. The breakfast is great, with many options to pick from and with fresh ingredients. Dinner is also available, along with a vast selection of Scottish Whisky and Gin - IMPORTANT: If you are going, do not miss the Cullen Skink Soup - it is the best thing ever to warm yourself after a rainy windy day in Isle of Skye.
PS: Fully appreciate the support of Jonathan and Simone for helping me set up something for my girlfriend's birthday, definitely brought a happiness tear to the eye :)
On the Isle of Skye’s spectacular north west coast, The Tables Guest House in Dunvegan offers stylishly appointed rooms and a full breakfast menu.

This was the most amazing stay, the hosts really thought of everything. The beds & pillows are extremely comfortable—the pillows and duvet are from a local company & made of 100% alpaca (I'll be looking into purchasing these for home!). The breakfast is delicious and has a ton of options, a lot of the products used are local. The hosts had a lovely tea and coffee bar, complete with home baked treats that was complementary—we loved sitting here and reading in the evening. The rooms themselves are big and have everything you need. There is a parking lot across from the building which was super convenient. In summary it was a beautiful place and the hosts are so sweet and made us feel at home. We hope to return again soon!

Absolutely exceptional. The hosts truly went above and beyond, making sure that nothing felt like too much trouble. The quality of the accommodation was outstanding—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for.
I would definitely stay here again and can't recommend Roskhill House highly enough

The view was amazing, the location was fantastic and it was very idyllic. The whole stay was very nice and I would definitely recommend it. The owner was also very nice and gave us suggestions what we could do during our stay on the Isle of Skye.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Nice Bed and Breakfast with views of the sea from the shared common dining and living room. Close to Niest Point Lighthouse (great hike/views). Breakfast is in the common dining room with a few other guests (you have your own table). You have the option to have dinner there (fresh salmon and trout are wonderful). Rooms are somewhat small but are nicely done with a bathroom (very fine for a couple). Johnathon and Simone are exceptional cooks...it is like having your own personal chefs! They are super accommodating.
Excellent location, on the end of peninsula. Very quiet spot, beautiful views along the coastline. Nice window seats to relax and enjoy the view. The house is well equipped, everything you need is there. Comfortabel beds.
The warm hosts make you feel welcome. The rooms are very nice and there are a lot of details in the B&B that make you feel special. The location is outside of the big tourist attractions which was for us a benefit. The breakfast is wonderful but what makes it at great experience is the option to eat in in the evening a la carte! They can make you unbelievable dishes (a star rating level). And they have a good car charger (32A/21 kW AC).
Everything. House was amazing. View was unbelievable. The host sent us all the information way ahead of time so we could plan our trips on Skye. I'd go there again. Highly recommend.
Lovely secluded location with breathtaking views. Excellent breakfast. Our hosts were welcoming, charming and helpful.
