Nice clean room (number 4) and good toilet and shower facilities. Good that there was a microwave and a toaster.
A fair price for the room. A good central location. I would use this guesthouse again.

Rachel was an excellent host. We felt welcomed from the minute we stepped inside. Our stay at Hay Farm lived up to our expectations. The room was spacious and clean and we had a fantastic sleep. It was so dark and peaceful. The breakfast was outstanding! Could have the yoghurt and granola everyday it was so good! Rachel and her husband were super friendly and they took some time out of their day to chat with us and give us some information about the area which we really appreciated. The location was also excellent. Would come back in a heart beat. Thank you!

What a beautiful property & home. Perfectly located for exploring so many places. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom magnificent. So clean and comfortable and Mylo was such a lovely host, friendly & helpful. We felt really looked after, definitely well fed and rested. Cosy open fires inside and views as far as the eye can see outside. A real country gem.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great host, room was clean and comfortable. We had a table booked for 8pm in wooler, taxi was sorted by the host for both ways no problem. Breakfast was fantastic, would definitely stay again.

It was super cosy, very clean, lots of space. facilities were spot on no issues whatsoever. the location is beautiful, the cafe is quiet and quaint with great things on offer. Staff were all lovely and really looked after us. Breakfast was insanely good. Seriously good value for money. Also ample parking. I highly recommend for anyone but especially convenient for the outdoors life. Will be going again next time I’m up that way. :-)
A great wee pub and restaurant with a charming couple who are your host. We used it as a base to site see around the coast and country side. We would recommend it to anyone.
Very clean and cosy. Comfy bed. Hosts very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Delicious breakfast and loved the little gifts for sale in the cafe. Picturesque quiet location. Private garden nice touch.
