Lovely apartment cosy yet spacious with lots of character. Very well equipped kitchen and spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful hosts provided lots of info on the area and things to do in advance and fresh milk and delicious Welsh cakes on our arrival. The apartment is in a quiet residential area next to the park, there’s a corner shop a few minutes walk away and a cafe at the entrance to the park. A 5 - 10 minute walk into town. 10 - 15 minutes drive to beautiful countryside and the Brecon Beacons national park. Parking in the drive and plenty if street parking. We will definitely stay here again.

The room in itself was okay and clean. Small but as described. There was a towel provided. There was some privacy, so I had a key for the front door and the room. There has been some stress with the check-in, because the owner provided a wrong code, but it got solved. The internet was working very well.

Me and my family stayed for Christmas, as my home was too small to accommodate my parents. The owner kindly added some Christmas decorations and sweets (thank you!). The hotel is self catering, and has a separate entry point from the front. The doors are accessed without traditional keys, making it easier to come and go.
The room was well equipped for a business traveller, plenty of kitchen space and appliances and bathroom facilities.
The room layout is set comfortably, with a TV that can access Freeview and a table that seats 2.
Tea and coffee supplies were provided, with milk as well.
The bed was well made, comfortable and plenty of layers for cooler nights.
The WiFi was available for free, as well as being very powerful. The mobile signal was great as well.
On arrival, there is an information pack on the table, which contains information about the surrounding areas and food outlets nearby.
I enjoyed my stay, I was made to feel welcome upon arrival. Would recommend.

I stayed here for one night at the end of cycling the Taff Trail from Cardiff. The host, Christine, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She didn't mind that I had a wet and dirty bicycle and showed me to a location where I could leave it securely overnight which was very reassuring. Lovely Labrador who was also very friendly. Very comfortable room and the breakfast was much appreciated and hearty before my next day of cycling. Would highly recommend.

Great location. Lovely pub with a fab host who was really friendly and helpful. Comfy cosy room, extremely clean and tidy place. Nice outside area with a great view of the hills. Food is fabulous. Everyone was friendly helpful and attentive, even though it’s quite a busy place. Chef came out for a few chats, nice guy, happy to do packed lunch and breakfasts for us heading off early and out walking all day. 20mins drive to Pen Y Fan.
Very comfortable space overall. Quiet location, but easy access to the city centre and bus/train stations. Great communication with the host, the bed was comfortable. The kitchen+bathroom being across the hall is neither a pro or a con, just a bit different.
Property was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Perfect location for everything we needed and very quiet area. Property was very clean and cosy. We even stayed an extra night. Hosts were brilliant and very helpful 😊 great location to access some amazing walks around Wales.
