Everything was great! We had to get in later than expected and our hosts were very accommodating which was much appreciated. Was only about 15 minutes to the Manchester Airport. Thanks and we highly recommend this place.

It was a delightful personally run hotel, Paul was efficient, friendly ( but not annoyingly so!) it had charm and was excellent value. The breakfast was freshly cooked and was first-class!

Location is great, just on the back street in Castleton (near the chippy!) Space for 4 cars.
We were given clear instructions on how to enter the property with access codes, and our room was great (at the end of the corridor).
There is a kitchenette in the room, which comprises of kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge, with crockery, glasses and cutlery. We were also given some boxes of cereal and some milk in the fridge, very unexpected and a lovely gesture.
The bed was comfy, very peaceful rooms. The room was a little cold at first, but it warmed up over the weekend.
There was a Smart TV in the room, guess you could log in to your Netflix or Amazon accounts if you wanted, although we didn't.
Wifi worked great (thank goodness as there was no phone signal!)
We will stay again (if they'll have us!)

Unfortunately we had to leave early because of a family bereavement.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The location is 3 mins walk from the railroad station right at the city centre. It is still quite quiet and the view is great.
There is everything you need - from spare towels to washing/drying machines and olive oil.
It is spacious, with easy access and a comfortable bed.
I felt really comfortable. Great bed, lovely TV room and a breakfast room next to the kitchen . Coffee in the morning outside in the garden in the fresh air...
