I recently stayed at Relax and unwind at Windrush Lodge for one day and had a pleasant experience overall. The reception was friendly and efficient, making the check-in process smooth. The garden house I stayed in was fantastic, featuring charming retro-style fittings that added a unique touch to the accommodation.

An absolutely delightful residence, constructed sympathetically within an existing barn structure, surrounded by endless glorious countryside. Quirky but finished to the highest level, the owner has created a unique accommodation which should enthral and delight all who stay there. I would ignore any ridiculous ‘negative’ reviews and give this wonderful place a try.

A beautifully decorated individual unit set in the back garden of the host. It has most things anyone would want for a very comfortable stay. Great ensuite, comfortable bed, good WiFi and a reasonable kitchen. Nice touch of coffee machine with pods. I will definitely be coming back again and would highly recommend.

What a fantastic place (I assume a converted barn)
The work done in a very artistic manner, using what other people would consider redundant but tastefully incorporate into the building to give an excellent result.
There was a well-equipped kitchen providing Croissants, butter, jams, coffee machine, and tea for a continental stile breakfast.
Other facilities were also available hot tub, BBQ etc.
All for a very reasonable price.
Roan cottage is clean, comfortable and in a great location for exploring the local area. We only stayed 2 nights as we where in the area for a family wedding, but we may return for a longer stay in the future. I would highly recommend if your in the area.
Location, quiet and secure area, tidiness, dog-friendly with fenced-in garden, towel, blanket, food and water bowls, coziness, great amenities like games and DVDs, floor fan, clothing iron, plenty of towels and pillows… It was perfect for a little home away from home.
Lovely quiet location as needed at the time. Absolutely everything (and I mean everything, even down to an icecream/potato scoop) supplied in the property to ensure a hassle free stay.
Everything is here for me yust have to unpack my suitcase the accommodation is very comfortable and good value for money also very quiet
