Our 2nd visit and experienced the same friendliness from the girls. The room again was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast excellent. Our room this time was on the top floor but we were helped with our cases as we are elderly.

breakfast was in cafe adjoining guest house and stipulated 9.30am. No-one around in cafe then. Had to walk around a bit to find exactly where it was! My breakfast was OK but husband's egg on toast was overcooked.

The Mount Guest House, hotel in Ludlow

Situated in Ludlow and only 40 km from Ironbridge Gorge, The Mount Guest House features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Our host, Ray, was very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for him. He gave us plenty of useful information about the area and was happy to answer any of our questions. Our room was very spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable and we also had a couple of chairs to sit on which is a nice bonus as not all B & Bs offer this, sometimes you just get a bed. The shower was roomy and the bathroom itself a decent size. The breakfasts were lovely, with plenty to eat and a good selection to pick from. From the property it's just a straight foward walk into the town centre which only took us about ten minutes, and we are slow on our feet! We would certainly recommend a stay here.

Paul was a great host very knowledgable about the area and took us to find cheap parking. We loved hearing about the many unusual arts and crafts that Paul has acquired over the years. There is only one lovely spacious room therefore Paul can give each visitor all of his efforts. We would most definitely be returning.

Great location in the town centre, public car park available nearby, reasonably priced & free after six on Saturday into Sunday. Our host Deborah was very charming & welcoming to us. The room was clean, spacious with all the facilities we needed. The bed was very comfortable indeed. We had a separate private bathroom which was spacious with a hot shower available. Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold choices available served by our host Deborah. Would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to others.
