Just a fantastic place to stay, clean, cosy food in the fridge...just perfect
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
This was my second time staying at this lovely guesthouse. The communication with the hosts was excellent, it is reassuring when you know they are very approachable and just a phone call away if needed. The location is good, quite central. The cooking facilities are practical. I had a bigger room this time, there was a desk, which was handy for work. WiFi worked well. In general, I found everything I could ever possibly need, and with an excellent quality. This is a place to return to when I am back in the area again.
Extremely clean. Good communication with host. Very well equipped kitchen, which was a real bonus space to sit and enjoy free tea and coffee. Didn’t use outside courtyard area but would be nice in warmer months to sit and enjoy a drink. Quiet at night time. Very convenient for Long Eaton shops, theatre.
Excellent service and communication.
Spotlessly clean and well presented. Easy parking a stones throw and very cheap! Very centrally located for the town and public transport. Asked the host to accommodate a particular request due to personal reasons and was happily accepted! Will absolutely book here again when visiting friends in the area.
Also good quality bed linen on a lovely comfy bed.. Makes such a difference!
Tip top accommodation.
Very clean and tidy, hosts were exceptional, great location. We’re coming down to long Eaton again (22nd-24th September) for my partners birthday and are currently looking at prices/availability to stay here again.
The location was fab 5 mins from Clifford spa an was in the centre of everything. Parking 2 mins away and really cheap. Over 3 hours on a Saturday £3 free after 6pm and on Sundays.
Clean room, comfortable for the night. Private rooms with shower and toilet and communal kitchen with complimentary tea, coffee etc. We didnt use that but it was a nice touch. Host was very helpful and informative. She responded very quickly to messages
Katharine and Dom were so lovely and so helpful, from the get go they made us feel welcome.
When I had told Katharine that we were on our mini honeymoon moon they then proceeded to put a bottle of bubbly in the fridge for us! Honestly could have asked for better hosts. Where the guest house was sat was amazing too, by that I mean you were literally only a 5 minute walk from everything!
We will definitely be back!
Thank you again!!
