The location was ideal for us as we were travelling out to Jura. The hosts Bobby and Janette were very hospitable. We had delicious, generous breakfasts - in fact we didn’t need lunch on either day we stayed there! Good base for exploring the area - we cycled up and down the Crinan Canal and did some lovely walks. The Knapdale beaver sanctuary is nearby but is closed on Saturdays.
A family-run guest house, Tregortha is set in a stunning location, overlooking the narrow sea channel of the Kyles of Bute. It has free Wi-Fi and is entirely double glazed.
The waterfront offers accommodation in Tarbert with views of the sea at Loch Fyne. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Every room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Very basic. But added little touches, like dressing gowns n slippers, as bathroom was separate from room.

The breakfast was a marvel. As guests we had perhaps 8 different menu options to choose from, concluding with a vary ample breakfast, which was my choice. Perfect.. The personality and charachter of our hosts was so open and gracious that I would be happy to call them friends. Nothing artificial about them. The property was well conceived, designed and maintained. Great location. What's not to praise.

Great breakfasts, Host Elle and Jim are great! We were there only for a night before getting on the ferry to Islay but it was very comfortable, quiet and quaint.
