Peter was the mist amazing host, at breakfast he could not do enough for us. I thought the hotel was old, unique and had lots of style. I was only there for nights on business, but was made exceedingly welcome. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

First time I’ve done something like this. I needed a room for work and pleasure trip. Somewhere to stay for the night. Was hoping for a B&B but with short notice took what I could find that was budget friendly. Had ridden at Cannock on way to Liverpool and needed an overnight before riding Llandegla. This served its purpose well.
In, cleaned up, slept and out in the morning. If you want somewhere just to crash then this is the right place.
Nice touches were the choccy bar and drink in the fridge.
Should have asked about bike storage.

The location was perfect for me as I was visiting my son who lives two roads away. The basket with breakfast food in was a nice touch, plus the extras. Plenty of cups and plates etc, tea, coffee, sugar even milk and water in the mini fridge. Somewhere to actually hang your clothes up, full length mirror and a hair dryer. You literally could not ask for more. I went when the temperature was -2 and snow but the room was lovely and warm.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Beautiful, quiet country setting within a ten minute walk of a lovely cosy pub. Charmian and Becky were great hosts and the accommodation was spotless, relaxing and a super comfy bed.
Everything. A fantastic place. Hosts were welcoming and had time to chat. Spotlessly cleanroom, comfy beds. Quiet rural location with stunning views and beautiful gardens. Easy to get to as well. Place has an aura that is special
Welcoming and attentive hosts and staff.. Spacious room. Huge comfortable bed. Nice cooked breakfast. Very quiet location with lots of local birds visiting. Nice views. Would be a great hiking location. Convenient to Mold and Ruthin.
Beautiful rural location with plenty of lovely walks nearby and beautifully maintained gardens. Host was very welcoming and friendly, managed to snag us a table on a busy Saturday night at a charming local pub! Decent full English in the morning with locally sourced produce.
