I travelled here for the Royal Welsh Show and I'd booked late. It wasn't cheap by a long way for what I thought was "a guest house with a shared bathroom" - but I was really pleased. It's very high end. MUCH more plush than I'd expected... There's a separate WC and another WC in the bathroom too. A beautiful roll top bath in there as well. I didn't have any issue with timing clashes with other guests (which I'd feared). The bedrooms are done to a wonderfull high standard. You get to share a very large kitchen with every facility you could want (and even thr choice to pay for food and drinks from the fridge and cook them there). Gavin the owner is really nice and helped me with where to park when I first got there. Highly recommended.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.

Llandrindod a charming and easily navigated town
A lovely quiet location, yet just a short distance from Llandod itself.
The room was clean, bright and quiet. A good shower experience was nice, too.
Breakfast was excellent, very tasty made/consisting of much local produce.
My host was friendly and welcoming.
I will happily visit again.
Great location and hotel with great food, quaint living-room like bar with pool table and such friendly owners. Spot on for our little group of classic cars on tour and 5 blokes to chill with immediate access to great driving roads and Elan Valley. Definitely be back when next on tour. 10/10
Good, quiet location. The bed was comfortable and although there was no toilet/bathroom within the room itself, I had a huge dedicated bathroom opposite.
The owner, Ruth, was lovely - very helpful & friendly- a great host.
Breakfast was fresh and plentiful
