The accommodation was to a high standard, we didn't explore the area as we used the property for a base for a family function so can't comment on this. However the village was very quaint and would like to explore the area some more as not far from family who live near by.
The little touches added to the accommodation to make it more personal and the owners being kind, considerate to our needs were amazing.
On the Brighton and Hove seafront, The Gather Inn is a fun place to eat, drink and stay. The property is located just 2 miles from Brighton city centre and overlooks Hove lagoon.

Excellent room with very comfortable bed, clean and comfortable environment
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Great location on edge of Littlehamton harbour allowed a nice interesting walk to the seafront. Also close to train station and bus routes so easily to explore further afield.
Its a pub with lots of character with nice ales. As it didn't stay open late during our stay it was quiet in the evenings.
Great location close to the town centre within 10 mins walk. Lovely furnished large studio apartment. Quiet and comfortable. Excellent kitchen dining area and access to lovely private shared patio. Really brilliant shower and the most comfortable bed ever! great host, easily available whenever required. Excellent value for money... 5 stars!! thoroughly recommend.
Clean and comfortable room in a great location. We were fortunate to have free on street parking for the duration of our stay. The hostess was charming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
The Guest House is in a great location, only a couple of minutes from the beach. The room was very comfortable and cozy, perfect for a short weekend trip. The host was super friendly and helpful, really caring about making our stay as perfect as possible. We opted for breakfast in bed and this was one of the best breakfasts I had in a long time with a wide spread of (warm) pastries, fruit salad, Jogurts and cereals. We can only recommend East Beach Guest House if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Littlehampton.
We were greeted upon arrival by Mark. Who explained about the parking arrangements and facilities of the guest house. He also recommended local places to dine. We were upgraded from a double to a king size bed. The bed was very comfortable and the room ( No 4 ) was quiet, clean and pleasant, The breakfast was a continental style of pasties and muffins and had a generous bowl of fresh fruit, yogurt with oats and honey, plus a choice of cereal. The location is excellent.
Great location and it was quiet. Hosts (including Luca the dog) made you feel really welcome and were very hospitable. Room was tastefully decorated and comfortable with a lovely continental breakfast delivered to your room at your chosen time.
The guest house is sparkling clean and decor is tasteful throughout. There is a really nice lounge area to relax with a fridge to chill your drinks and glasses supplied. I like that you can sit out on the balcony and there’s a seating area on the front courtyard too. Breakfast was amazing. Mark and Richard are great hosts, so friendly and helpful. Thank you for the unexpected upgrade, it was much appreciated!
