The breakfast was excellent, room and shower were very clean. The host was helpful and friendly. We sat in the bar and had a lovely conversation with her. Highly recommend. My husband and I would stay there again.

Kirkcroft was refreshingly easy to find. The bed was very comfortable and we felt as though we received a superb value. We have already recommended it to others and will continue to do so.

Our host was an exceptionally friendly guy who made us feel really welcome from the off.
Bedroom was comfortable, clean and tidy. We didn't have any food so unsure if it was available, but we did have a few beers in the bar.

Everything about it is lovely, quiet location, very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Alison, the host is lovely, very friendly. Will definitely be back next time we are travelling to Scotland
The Village Inn might not look much from the outside but do not be fooled as it’s a great place for a stay in the beautiful Scottish borders. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with lovely views across the Scottish countryside. Location - just off the motorway - is peaceful with easy parking. Breakfast freshly cooked and enjoyable. Venue very dog friendly. Alison is a great host and made us feel very welcome.
Our spacious room was clean and comfortable and the veggie breakfast was outstanding! Alison was a great host and we loved meeting her little dog Bee, too. It was great to be able to order drinks from the bar in the evening, too.
I''ve been looking for some time for a reasonably priced B & B close to Annan & this is easily the best I have found. My room was spotless, with plenty of space, & the double-glazed windows meant it was quiet - an important feature, given the Village Inn's closeness to both the A74 (M) motorway & the main railway line to Glasgow. An excellent full Scottish breakfast is available to choose from &, last but not least, Alison is a friendly & welcoming hostess.
The Village Inn had everything we needed and more, including having an enclosed garden for dogs. Despite being just off the motorway, it is very quiet with parking right outside. Breakfast was great (lots of choice), and Alison was a fantastic host. We will definitely return if we are in the area again. A great location for a stopover to/from Scotland.
