Great stay at Arden hotel. I had originally booked a single room as I was only staying over one night to attend a course but was upgraded to king size bed/family room at no extra cost. Location was perfect for attending my course in the town centre, room was immaculate, comfy bed, it was very quiet and peaceful and Billy the host was really friendly and the breakfast was fab.
Great location, with all you need a short walk away. Kirkcudbright is a super centre for exploring this corner of Scotland. The garden is a bonus, although the weather when we stayed was not great for sitting outside. I wish we could have stayed longer! The host was very helpful when we had a couple of small problems which were easily solved.
Remote location, quietness, great property for up to 5 adults and good for a family, good laundry facility, great entrance for boots and bikes, friendly and responsive hostess, spacious rooms, good kitchen provision, comfortable living area, separate dining area, comfortable beds.
Room on second floor of beautiful townhouse in very quiet street, easy street parking and short walk to everywhere in the town. Everything beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our hosts were charming, and gave helpful recommendations of things to see and do. Breakfast was outstanding, freshly cooked, and with home-made bread and jams, fruit salad, cereals etc.
Excellent all round. Great host and staff with efficient service. The hotel is very clean with very good meals. Great location. Excellent value. This was my third stay and as usual was not disappointed.
We spent a couple of nights staying in the Kite’s Rest… Absolutely great place to stay with great hosts who were extremely helpful and great to chat away to :-)
The setting is perfect; quiet, great views and loads of space. We had glorious weather so made use of the BBQ and sat out on the decking area morning and night!
