Fabulous location just round the corner from the Minster. Lovely old house that had lots of quirky features and unlimited hot water with a lovely big bath. Nice and clean with towels and tea coffee milk etc with the kettle a welcome surprise. Heating worked well too. Clearly needs some renovation but for £45 a night 🤷♀️
Had to contact Harry as we accidentally left my phone in the room and of course the passcode for the outside door was in that and he was very helpful and sent my son the code so we could get back in.
Only let down was the mattress as it was so old it was like sleeping on a concrete slab!
With new mattresses most people would be very happy with the accommodation overall as a good nights sleep is the most essential thing.
As long as you’re not fussy and OTT this is a great place to stay in my opinion handy for everywhere and lovely to hear the bells of the minster chiming

Great location 2 min from train station. 10 min to city centre. Spotless amazing comfortable beds clean bedding. Host got back to me within minutes of me putting the wrong code in. Staying there again. Kitchen downstairs fantastic and clean.

Very clean, staff were very welcoming and friendly. Great location. Breakfast was delicious. Car parking is much cheaper when paid via the hotel. Some outside noise but the hotel itself was very quiet.
Quite simply the best accommodation I have ever stayed in . A huge two bed apartment right in the city centre with every facility you could ask for , and incredibly quiet for city centre accommodation.
The hosts were so helpful and friendly , I cannot recommend this property highly enough.
