The property was very clean and modern. The owner had clearly given thought to the travelling guest, the room was a good size, with little touches like the night light that operated on a motion sensor, everything was well laid out in the communal areas and clear instructions and directions to the property. The owner also contacted us in advance of our stay, to let us know about events that were happening during the dates we booked. We had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend.
Just 500 metres from Wick Bay, The Nethercliffe Hotel offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. With a traditional restaurant and private garden, the hotel is a 3-minute drive from Wick Airport.

The room was very clean, warm, and comfortable with all the necessary things plus a TV.
The breakfast was delicious, and the lady who served us was so loving ❤️ and attentive.
There was a car park right at the back of the building where we left our car for the night.
There was a convenience store right in front of where we were. It is right in the centre of Wick.

We liked the room but we had assumed it was a flat. This was entirely our fault because we had stayed there 2yrs ago, unfortunately the place we stayed previously was a completely different flat in the same place. To give him his due Callum the landlord moved us to a flat in another area which was better because it gave us a separate bedroom and living room for the same cost.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
In a lovely quiet spot, short trip to Keiss beach where you can spot seals and otters. The room was lovely and we got upgraded to a room with a side sea view. The host is very friendly and accommodating and even provided us with breakfast on the go for our early start for the ferry from Gills.
The hostess was lovely and was super helpful when we had leave early for the ferry to Orkney. Breakfast was delicious.

Marie was a great host looking after me when I arrived in the pouring rain. My bedroom was warm and cosy with a very comfortable bed.

A gem of a find. Rural setting, so very quiet. Quite a new build, so everything is immaculate and my room was perfect. A very comfortable bed with a nice en-suite…everything you need really. The host was pleasant and attentive The pub/restaurant in the nearby village is good for a meal and a mere 1.3 mile walk away. A good way to help work off the plentiful meal on the return leg.
Owain and Katie are great hosts. The room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of food and options. The breakfast room is a lovely glazed loggia. The house is in a very quiet location, in the country, with a wonderful view of the ocean.
There was a closet in the room, with plenty of room for clothes and stuff and this is a plus, even if I prefer shelves rather than hangers when it comes to closets, it's generally better for travellers (it's not an issue, though).
Very pleasant stay, great location, great host's 👍 can't fault anything about it .Well done thus far , good luck for your future plans. Hopefully we will be up again inthe near future and most certainly would stay again
Beautiful location, amazing breakfast, very quiet, clean and a very comfy bed :-) and watching the sunrise over the sea from our bedroom was awesome, Marie was a great host and we'll definitely be back
