James called me before we arrived to let me know that we could arrive at anytime which suited us, I didn’t get to meet him but we were greeted by Diana. Such a lovely lady who welcomed us on our arrival and even recognised us from our visit 3 years ago. She made us feel so welcome. We stayed in the deluxe room, a different one from last time but it was even better. The rooms are furnished to a very high standard, the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom with bath and shower separately was massive, the shower was great. The breakfasts were amazing, Diana is a feeder lol, they were piping hot too. I would highly recommend this guest house and will definitely be returning in the near future 🩷

Travelled with another couple for a 2night stay in Irvine and we had 2 out of the 3 available cottage rooms. Great accommodation with easy parking and access. Sits at the back of a house with rooms to let from the same host. Lovely, recently refurbed accommodation with a great small sitting area outside each of the rooms. Rooms have a fridge or wine fridge for keeping drinks cool which is a great addition. Bathroom has a roomy shower - which had good pressure.

Our Employees refused to stay in this place as it was run down, filthy, damp and smelling. I have been in contact 3 times with the Company to request a full refund but they are ignoring me.

Lovely guest house, beds were so comfortable, Great location, easy self checkin, we stayed in room 8 which was upstairs front facing with lovely view .We ate at harbour lights few doors down ,food was fabulous great value for money and the entertainment on the Saturday was exceptional. Would certainly stay again if travelling to Irvine.

Great location - short drive to Irvine.
Great location.
Well equipped for an overnight stay ahead of getting the ferry to Arran.
Nick was a great host with helpful tips re good places to eat and drink.
Little hidden gem. Beautiful room, private outdoor patio right under the window. Very clean and tastefully but practical. Our favourite touch was the dog pack- a fluffy towel, stainless steel bowls and a portion pack of dried food, very thoughtful 😁. Perfect location for a night after all the walking on Aaron, very quiet and peaceful. Great host and clear communication. We will definitely stay here again.
Marina view guest house is in a great location, quiet, close to the beach and the town, within walking distance to both. The guest house is exceptionally clean, with a comfortable bed. Rooms have a fridge, microwave, tv, kettle, and coffee, sugar teabags. Wi-Fi is quick and strong. We enjoyed our visit to Irvine to visit our son and would return to Marina View. We would highly recommend Marina View guest house if you are staying in the area
We used the Irvine Guest House for one night on return from the Isle of Arran. It is well placed for this purpose and close to takeaways and pubs for a quick bite to eat. Clean and comfortable. Our room at the rear downstairs was very quiet - Room 3. Good night’s sleep.
The host, Nick, was very quick to respond to the couple of questions I had during our stay, and very helpful.
