Staff were very friendly and helpful.
They happily moved us to another room because no.3 was quiet noisy with a fan/ cooling unit outside below the window.
Moved us to room no.1 but it was very cold. We couldn’t ask to move again because they would think we were just complaining couple. Decided to drive home. Didn’t get to try the food, we did feel it would have been good because it was really busy and smelt amazing.
Felt really bad about leaving, I suffer from a medical condition, I need to stay warm.
Amazing value for money.. great location. Room was good.
My only fault is things look a bit tired, could do with a paint, sink also kept blocking up.
Evening meal was good and great value, basic but good, they could do with something for the flies, there did seem a lot especially at breakfast. Breakfast was ok, but again some food uncovered with a lot of flies. Toast would be better made to order, very dry as under the heat lamp.
I would definitely go again as amazing value but definitely would not do breakfast.
Great food ,friendly staff . Beautiful setting and perfect accommodation that hosted a huge wedding party .
