What a find!! We stayed here for one night after spending the day at a local festival. We were slightly concerned that requesting a late check in may be an issue.... But the host was so accommodating. Great communication throughout. The accommodation was beautiful... So clean and cosy. And stocked with everything you need. Will definitely be returning next year! 5*

Wonderful stay! When we arrived we was pleasantly surprised with the space and lovely place it was! We was travelling with two kids and there was games and dvds to hand to help entertain them! Also they loved the trampoline, swing and just being able to play in the garden along with going for a nice walk along with river!!

I had a good experience. Clean room, hot water, spacious lounge area, easily accessible from the city center (10 min Uber, 20 mins bus ride, 40 min walk), easy check in process, I felt safe in the neighborhood as a solo female traveler, and there was strong wifi.

Conveniently close to the train station, check in/out process was easy, room was spacious, basic accommodation but clean and functional. There were lockers that I used to store my luggage after check out, and that process was also simple and easy.

First class accommodation in a peaceful location. In view of the current situation with Covid, social contact was kept to a minimum, but this didn't prevent Maria from being the perfect host albeit by text message.

The location of the lodge was ideal for us, we were in the area visiting family in Hemmingford Grey, lovely quiet village near the busier and lively St Ives. The room was spacious and clean, staff very accommodating and helpful.
There a nearby pub serving meals in and outdoors (The Cock) and also the Axe and Compass in Hemmingford Abbots serves excellent food.
The breakfast was continental delivered to the room, it was very tasty and contained lots of fresh fruit, cereals, toast, jams etc.
