The location was great as it was a short journey to the racecourse which was perfect for our short stay. Comfy bed and lovely shower with convenient parking too.

All was impeccable - very very clean, fluffy towels, very comfortable bed to sleep, spacious room - we have booked a suite, hot water.
Even the breakfast options, yes it was not like 100% breakfast but juices, muffins and snack nut bars were just perfect.
Our son especially liked the small sweet treats - candy canes :)

Friendly welcome (beware definitely no check in before 3pm). Quaint room. Warm and comfortable. Easy 5 minute walk into the city centre. Would definitely consider it for another stay.

The location was perfect. It’s in a quiet location overlooking the countryside.
The host was great. Friendly and welcoming and was there if we needed anything.
It was so relaxing to sit on the patio looking out at the beautiful llamas.
Hosts Kim and Richard could not have been more welcoming,kind and helpful, especially helping us with local routes into Gloucester and recommending where to have a meal etc. This is a lovely quiet property as described, with good size bedroom and very comfy bed. Generous continental breakfast in room is excellent and replenished daily. An excellent stay, we would be more than happy to return!
Our cottage was in a lovely little village, it was quiet and the view from the garden was beautiful. Andy is a very kind host, who did respond to all our questions. We can certainly recommend a stay in Woodpecker Cottage.
Very comfortable room, friendly hosts and generous continental breakfast. The storage for bikes was great. Good open view from the room(see photo) to the tree covered hill top and easy parking. Great location.
