Kirkcroft Guest House, hotel in Gretna

Set in Gretna, the recently renovated Kirkcroft Guest House offers accommodation 42 km from Thirlwall Castle and 17 km from Carlisle Railway Station.

Tony and Christine gave us a warm welcome and provided us with information on the local sites and eateries. Our stay was more like staying with family rather than a guest in a B & B. Wonderful people as was their friend and handyman Ken. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this Guest House on our way to the Highlands. The house is close by to the historical places, bus stop and motorway. Grace and her husband are great hosts we had a really good time staying at their guest house. Special mention for the breakfast: it was delicious and kept us full for the day's hike. We will definitely stay there again.

Fresh flowers in the hall and lots of literature/leaflets on local places of interest too. Great nights sleep and good breakfast in a great location - what more can you want from a B&B
