Kirkcroft Guest House, hotel in Gretna

Set in Gretna, the recently renovated Kirkcroft Guest House offers accommodation 42 km from Thirlwall Castle and 17 km from Carlisle Railway Station.

There's nothing not to like ☺️. Chris and Tony are lovely and great hosts , full of knowledge from gretna in the war to the best places to visit and eat. The guest house was spotlessly clean , comfortable and Chris's breakfast was fabulous. The train station was an added bonus , it made it easy to enjoy an evening in Carlisle with the family. There's private parking , lovely walks and it's close to our Scottish family, so we'll definitely be staying again . Just like being at home ❤️

What a lovely room! No wonder Abbey Court gets such high reviews. The Garden Room exceeded our expectations. The spacious bathroom and wonderful shower were really appreciated. Breakfast was amazing with a wide range of options on offer. Lots of great places to eat in Carlisle cente, which is 15 min walk away. We stayed at this Guest House on our way to the Highlands. The house is close by to the historical places, bus stop and motorway. Grace and her husband are great hosts we had a really good time staying at their guest house. Special mention for the breakfast: it was delicious and kept us full for the day's hike. We will definitely stay there again.
