Breakfast was Really Good we all Enjoyed the Food. Well Location was ok. Rooms were on the ground floor so that was easy for us to carry our luggage in the room. Car parking is right out side of our room

The room was very spacious for our family. The breakfast was delightful, and the staff were amazing and very helpful. The townhouse is in a great location, as it was an easy walk to anywhere in town as well as the pier on Lake Windermere.

The bed and breakfast was such a close walk to any shopping, eating, or hiking we wanted to do, but was still pretty quiet at night.

Good location, unfortunately the manager was rude and confronted me in a very unpleasant approach about our parked car. He approached me as I walked to the car and asked if 'our car was ours'. I confirmed and he said I had to move it, I said why, he said 'because parking is for guests only' and I said I am. His approach was very confrontational and completely unnecessary. Even after he realized his mistake he never apologized and gave no indication of his mistake. Completely unacceptable and unfortunate. Overall decor or the hotel and common spaces were decorated in a very institutional way. Could so easily be tweaked to make it feel more homey. Room was clean.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Particularly the female host on Saturday who welcomed us was super helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was great both days and the high tea that was included was a nice touch. The area was lovely and it was a short walk to the sister hotel to use the spa facilities. The hotel itself was very clean and quaint. The outside seating areas were lovely and peaceful.
One of the best UK stays I've had. Staff were absolutely great hosts, and the food was superb which rounded off the days adventures well. Great location and spent the week on foot which was rewarding! Will be back

Stayed in the Penthouse, top floor with a private outside terrace which is nearly as big as the room… great for the dog and if we had had better weather, for us too!
Plenty of parking, Richard was on hand twice when we needed a hand… forgotten phone charger and then jump leads for the car!!! Nothing was too much trouble, great host.
Excellent hostel. Everything was extremely clean, common spaces (2 self-catering kitchens, lounge) were great. Plenty of shared toilets/showers. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. It was very quiet during my stay. The staff were very friendly and gave good tips for hiking paths. Great location. I cannot recommend it enough.
