Lyn & Liam are the perfect hosts in the lovely location of Grange-over-sands. Lyn’s knowledge of the Lakes District is wonderful & she shared ideal locations to visit & was ready with brochures to assist with site visits.  Each morning we were treated to a scrumptious breakfast.  The accommodation, room & shower were impeccably clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Our top room’s outlook over the rear garden was sublime & peaceful. If you’re lucky, you can spot the shy badger & baby from the window. Lyn & Liam are such kind people. Nothing was a trouble for them, and they genuinely wish for your stay to be comfortable & happy in the place they really love. We would not hesitate in staying again and can thoroughly recommend Elton Guesthouse as a great base to explore the Lakes District.

Sam the lovely lady who run the pub\hotel was exceptional. She was very warm and welcoming. She went out of her way to make our stay most comfortable especially due to me being unwell on arrival. She took me to our room and said if I needed anything to let her know.even meals in my room. She was very caring and certainly added a personal touch which made all the difference to our stay. She was also very friendly as was her daughter Brooke and made conversation with us and enquired to my wellbeing whenever she could. They are truly an asset to the business and I would not hesitate to stay with them again.
