For the price, the place was very good and clean. However, 1 bathroom with a bath & shower and lavatory shared between 6 rooms is NOT a good idea.

Both of the owners were lovely, friendly and accommodating. Was able to check in at my lunch hr which made things easier. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, perfect scrambled eggs and they even very kindly let me borrow an umbrella when the sunshine suddenly vanished in the morning. I have rebooked to stop here 2 more times in the coming months when down for work.

Such a cosy, comfortable place to stay. It had all the essentials that we needed for the night. The area is stunning, we were only staying one evening so managed a little walk around, it’s a beautiful place and very quiet. Our host was really friendly and had even gotten us some milk, bread, cakes and jam which was lovely.

Good central location. Stunning garden to look at during breakfast. Good choice of breakfast foods, especially for a lactose intolerant vegetarian. Room was clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and welcoming.

Gloucester's Hidden Gem. Pavol (host) very helpful as well as professional, only a phone call away if needed. The apartment was very clean, excellent facilities, very close to city centre and set within a quiet area, only 5 mins from historic docks and marina,, every type of shops close by, Railway station and National coach/bus station within 20mins easy walk.
The apartment exceeded our expectation... lovely place to stay. No noise either during the day or night .
I liked In the family room had a separate room for the children. Was very clean and comfortable. Was a 10 minute walk into the city centre so great location. Was so quiet in the evenings too.
Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, very quiet and very scenic, in a great location. Lots for the kids to see and do near by. It had everything you needed and more. The hosts were great, the farm tour was our favourite part of the weekend! The hosts were very accommodating and very helpful too!
Everything went well for me, a clean and quiet room with really comfy bed and a great location for my needs in Gloucester, it is great value and Spencer is a caring and friendly host, I have stayed before and would certainly stay again.
Lavender cottage was perfect for us (2 friends needing a getaway for the weekend). Immaculately clean with everything we needed. Rachel and Henry were great hosts and and went out of their way to make us welcome. It's a great location for scenic walks and accessing the forest of Dean. Great location with parking and a short walk into the city centre. We were at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet at night. Our room was large, well equipped and clean. It's a really good budget hotel and we will definitely book again.
