The breakfast was great. The room was a little small and cold when we arrived. The showers didn't work as well as in some B&Bs we've stayed in. They were a bit 1980s. Some of the staff were friendly.

The property was lovely to stay, everything was sorted for us upon arrival & the host was hospitable to say the least she answered every question we had. The rooms were nice and clean and we didn’t have to worry about anything, everywhere we went was easily accessible to us within a short distance drive. Would definitely come back here on my next visit

Hi Olu, I'd like to say a very big thank you for letting me and my guide dog Brier stay at your apartment. It was very clean, everything was brilliant. It was a little out of town but not to far and I hink if I'd tried a bit harder we could have done some walking instead of getting taxi's. All facilities were clean and worked extremely well. I hope that I can stay again with you soon.Lizzie and Brier.

Once given our keys, the access to the room was perfect, especially for a busy Saturday night.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
A great location, very quiet and peaceful, but within easy walking distance of local places to eat and drink. Very comfortable accommodation with all the convenience of items you have at home. If we are ever in that area we would stay there again.
Booked last minute and location was lovely and quiet, the house is located off the main road and parking provided. Bed was very comfy and the sofa, front room cosy. Hosts / agents were very friendly and helpful. Was great I could bring my pug.
The appartment was very clean, host was very responsive when we struggle to understand the hot water (which wasn't difficult, we clearly had brain freeze there!). It's an old stable converted, so barely any windows -- as you can see on the pictures. As advertised, clean, good value for money, great location and outstanding host. We will book again!
The location couldn’t be better, lovely park opposite and centre of town a few minutes walk away. Old Glossop can be reached through the park making it a lovely quiet walk. Host provided a travel cot for us and had it set up on arrival.
Lovely guest house above a traditional pub in Old Glossop. Location was excellent (lovely and quiet, a babbling brook outside) and the room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good (full english and cereal options), and good selection of food and drinks in the pub. Location of the guest house is very well placed for exploring the dark peak region of the Peak District.
Great location for the high street and drive into the Peake's. Bungalow was very comfortable and clean with off road parking a real bonus. Access was easy and host was available if needed. A great stay and would definitely return
Clean with all the comforts of home. Quiet, comfortable bed ,parking and friendly host.
