From the welcome when we arrived to the end of our visit everything was just perfect. The little extra touches such as scones cream & jam on arrival and the Epsom salts provided for the bath were so nice.
The room was amazing with a lovely collection of beautiful old furniture and fittings.
Breakfast was wonderful with a great selection.
They went above and beyond even providing a set of cufflinks when my husband forgot his!

There is parking. The room was plain but very clean and comfortable. The hospitable staff was very attentive to my needs. Not only had they read my note (not all do) but provided good quality gluten free and decaffeinated products to suit my diet. Breakfast was delicious. They serve good quality food. My stay was well worth the money. Good location too. Not a far walk to the city centre.

Delightful stay. Very attentive owner and excellent evening meal. Road works make access from Dundee tricky especially when dark.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Lena was a great host. Very informative and friendly. The location was just right for getting out and about to the Highlands, Dundee, Edinburgh, The Trossachs etc. My odd requests for breakfasts was dealt with in good humour.
Beginning to end exceptional service, perfect spotlessly clean room with parking only a step away.
We were offered a table in the restaurant but chose the busy well stocked bar. The locals were friendly, the lovely food and wine were served by Lena and cooked by Mike her husband.
Breakfast was amazing again served and cooked by this very special couple, a truly remarkable find, great location and value, we can't wait to go back.
Although there was some noise from the main road opposite, once the evening drew in, just fine - very welcoming host, excellent dinner - excellent breakfast - nice garden, nice little walk in the village and around the old church next door - loved the church bells on Sunday morning - if you spend as much time on the road and in chain hotels, somewhere like this is charming
Breakfast was excellent, as anticipated, as dinner the previous evening had been superb. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Ideal stopping off place on journey to Tayside.
A great hotel on the outskirts of Perth with lovely rooms in an annex. Good food (dinner and breakfast) with a nice selection of specials and a generous size fry-up for breakfast. Special praise to the host/manager who made the extra effort for all her guests. Especially liked the good quality Mira shower with rainfall shower-head in the well decorated bathroom.
What a lovely stay we had. The locals in the hotel bar were so lovely and really made our stay. The hotel owners and staff were all lovely. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and they were both lovely, very impressed at the breakfast choice! The location was good for what we needed. The rooms were clean, well equipped and quiet.
Again thank you to the lovely locals for making us so welcome for our anniversary weekend.
The breakfast was excellent! Staff are friendly. Bathroom is small but well appointed. Place is clean. Appreciate the Tea/coffee facility. Quiet place. Not too far drive to Perth City Centre.
