Lovely place, very friendly supportive landlord. Really ace creative layout and lovely yard to spend evenings outdoors. You need to be comfortable to be very close up with your friends, there is rather little privacy ;-) but it's a really fun place to stay. The kitchen is basic, so don't plan to cook any dinner or big breakfast, but who wants to do dishes on vacation :-) Comfy beds, good heater (it was a chilly day), free WiFi - would be happy to stay there again!

We had the family room and it was clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. The gentleman at reception was friendly and helpful. There is parking at the rear of the property but limited to 5-6 cars only. So a bit of 'keep your fingers crossed for an available space' scenario. On-street parking has weird restrictive hours which mainly caters to permit holders.

Spacious ground floor flat, easy to find, on a quiet street close to a large park and to bus routes into central Gateshead & Newcastle. Responsive host, and straightforward check in and check out with the lockbox.
A warm welcome from the host, a lovely room with a huge en-suite bathroom and all the facilities you will need. The grounds are large and well maintained and even though there is a road nearby it was a really quiet and peaceful stay.
The Old Bakery was spacious, beautifully furnished, warm, clean and comfortable. It was very well equipped and had plenty of storage space for clothing. The location was great - nice and quiet yet on a bus route and with plenty of lovely local pubs. Helen was an excellent host, providing help and advice ahead of our stay and calling in on our first evening to ensure everything was perfect for our stay.
Mark was fantastic at being the host/property manager and kept in touch throughout the stay. Great location, great home from home stay apartment, lovely and quiet area, easy to find and great location for getting around the area. Looking forward to our next trip
Cosy, quiet hotel with friendly staff, nice big car park free of charge which is great too!
Nice location near to the metro centre gateshead and not too far either to the city centre by car (Uber is fairly cheap from the hotel to city centre when we went)
