Great place to stay if you are passing through. The room was spacious enough for all our luggage but no elevators obviously because it’s a house none the less it had cute decor with the highland cows all over. Brandy was there to greet us when we arrived. Great location, walking distance to some restaurants. They have parking which is a plus! Would stay here again.

I stayed twice, a few days apart. It was very quiet and had everything I needed. The room was clean and I was very comfortable there.

The location of the property is very convenient and quite close to the town. There are many restaurants nearby as well. This property was part of a distillery which is now closed and it is quite big in size with a nice garden and big parking lot. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly.

Whirlpool was great - made loads of bubbles but can only be used until 9:30pm because of neighbors.
Host was great. Location was a little smaller than expected and didn’t have the little electrical fireplace seen in the pictures.
Breakfast oats, coffee and tea and a kettle were provided which was lovely.
Room is attached to the main house which wasn’t a problem for us. Host was happy to heat something in the microwave for us.
No fridge available.
Please be aware that the bed is in fact a couch - however it has a very comfortable mattress on top so we didn’t have a problem with it.

Everything! The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, a wonderful place to take in a lovely sunset. The owners were kind and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to help us with dinner reservations and to ensure we were comfortable. The accommodations were fantastic. The rooms were gorgeous! Probably one of the most aesthetic rooms we’ve ever stayed in. Finally, the food! Absolutely delicious! We each had different breakfasts and everything was fantastic. Hot, flavorful and perfect portion sizes! Try the whiskey porridge, it was amazing!! If you are in the area, make sure to stay here!

The guest house was immaculate, the owners really friendly and helpful. Beautiful views, comfortable rooms, red hot showers and delicious breakfast.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The view of Ben Nevis from our “private” patio was wonderful. The host is friendly, kind and helpful. The to-go breakfast in the room was a lovely surprise and appreciated. It’s a great location to get to all the major tourist spots nearby while still experiencing the peace and quiet of rural Scotland.
Wonderful cabin, everything you could possible need; including a beautiful welcome back of cheese, wine etc.
Great location, very quiet and peaceful.
Host Christine was lovely and gave some great tips on places to go.
Nice quiet location, with a lovely view from the bedroom out across the water. The bathroom was spacious and everything was spotlessly clean.
Kenny was a great host.
Great location close to town but very quiet. Host was wonderful and accommodating. Breakfast was served fresh in the dining room. Would stay there again.
Very accommodating and friendly host. Room was lovely and quaint and quiet which was ideal for a good nights rest. I decided to not have the breakfast as I left really realty but while cooking it smelt delicious!!!!
Loved everything from the get go. Caroline was a great host and great communication from start to finish. Lovely place and great location. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Thanks for the little treats and touches it was great me and my wife Ashley can't recommend enough. If we return to the are we'd definitely book again. 10 out of 10.
Excellent hosts, great location 15 mins walk to town, beautiful view, stunning breakfast especially the fresh fruit salad, everything you could hope for plus more. Happily return tomorrow!
This is a perfect place. It is very well-thought and equipped with everything you need for short stay. Not even needed to say that everything was spotless clean.
Hosts are welcoming, provided with all information needed and stayed in contact for our questions.
We also liked the location. It is close enough to everything you need in the city center (five minutes by car), but has advantages of quiet neighborhood, that gives you an opportunity to rest well after a long day.
Definitely recommend. We would stay again.
The house is absolutely charming. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We had an amazing view of the Loch and despite being by the highway it was very quiet at night. We appreciated very much the continental breakfast, the best one we had during our holidays in Scotland. But the best of all was the host, she was always kind, helpful and smiling. We definately recommend the Lawriestone Guest House and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
