The Red Lion is a friendly comfortable property in the centre of a charming village. A great place to meet the local folk and learn about the surrounding area. The staff are very welcoming and the breakfast is excellent. The simplicity and relaxed atmosphere was everything we had hoped for.
Good value for money , clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful hosts. Quiet spacious room, particularly great to have a bath after a long wet day of walking.
Cottage is a little wee gem in a lovely quiet area. All essentials available. Perfect quiet get away with plenty scenic walks. Town is very friendly. Garden is lovely and big. The hosts were very accomidating very polite and helpful.
