The TV reception is improved, they've added a fridge and microwave although I didn't use either but it was really cosy and parking next to the house meant minimal.defrost on icy mornings. REALLY warm welcome and good to be back

Very friendly welcome from the parent pub. Small but clean functional room at a keen price. Car park, on site was handy.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Vine Cottage was the perfect overnight stay when attending a wedding locally. The room was beautifully furnished and had every convenience. It was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was superb with lovely fresh fruit salad, full English breakfast and home made preserves. A real delight and Vicky was an excellent host
Charming little cottage in delightful location, beautifully decorated, and appointed to a very high standard. Clever use of space and though tiny it didn't feel at all cramped. Very central and convenient, yet quiet and secluded, with suntrap courtyard garden. Perfect!
Elizebeth and Dave were exceptional hosts, also informing us of local activities The accommodation provided everything we needed for our stay. Even the small courtyard was a good relaxing area, where we also lunched. Central location, quiet relaxing area, Ideal for short or long stays. Easy walk to shops and gardens.
This place is brilliant..its quiet and the Lodge itself has everything you need. The hot tub is relaxing and there is plenty to do in the area.
Frankie and Jonathon are great hosts and leave you things to have breakfast with. There is some decking you can sit out on and the lights make it all look nice in the evening.I would defo recommend staying here. There is also a bbq you can use .
The lodge was immaculate and in a great location, the facilities inside the lodge made it feel very homely. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts, who were on hand whenever needed ( which, because of the condition of the lodge, wasn't very often ) ...overall, amazing stay, so good we've booked another week 10/10.
Beautiful cottage in quiet village close to everything I needed.
Private bathroom and shower. Room was very quaint and lovely comfortable bed.
Breakfast was to die for.
Vicky and Robin could not have been more welcoming and charming. They were definitely a ‘cut above’ as hosts; the accommodation and hospitality provided, including an excellent breakfast, were all first rate.
I will definitely stay again when visiting family nearby.
The lake setting of hotel was lovely. The bar manager Dhruv was exceptionally welcoming and friendly and was a great host throughout our visit. He made great cocktails too.
