The warm pastries in the morning, amazing communication with the owner
Can’t fault it in any way
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
I was only at the Guesthouse for one night. My room was great with it's own bathroom. Comfortable bed and very clean.
I had the full English breakfast which was included with my room and it was excellent.
I stayed here for work and the guesthouse was 4 minutes away from my work place so great location.
I would definitely stay here again when back in this area.
Breakfast was excellent lovely cooked breakfast cereal toast yogurts fruit good choice
Our host was really nice and very friendly.
It was quiet, bed really soft and comfortable tea and biscuits in room.
A charming building with plenty of history, we had a room in the gables of the old stables, a very comfortable room with great views across the fields one side and the courtyard the other. We were attending a wedding so had the whole day there, it was a very good day and wonderfully hosted by the hotel. Whether you are wanting a break or here for a wedding I would definitely recommend a stay in this slice of English history.
Perfect and peaceful. Spotlessly clean, large airy apartment in a quiet area whilst still in walking distance to the town. The hosts were extremely helpful and I felt valued and well catered for. You can tell that they care about their property which comes through in the well stocked toiletries, attention to detail and the high standard of cleanliness. Mainline train station was only a short walk away and the cinema less than 5 minutes walk. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
Great location for the Exhibition centre. Breakfast was fantastic. Nice touch to have mini fridges and hot chocolate in the room. Nice and quiet. Hosts were friendly
